Daniel Casteel
An accomplished business executive with broad-based Fortune 500 experience, Daniel is the founder and President of Gone Pro. Daniel received his bachelor's degree in 1983 from the University of Alabama, where he played football under legendary Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. It was through Daniel's relationships and experiences with former teammates that the idea for Gone Pro developed.
Before founding Gone Pro, Daniel spent 19 years with Tyco International, holding executive positions in business development, operations and human resources. As vice president of human resources for Tyco Fire & Security, he directed the strategic HR management for this $11 billion international leader in fire protection and electronic security. Daniel was closely involved in the company's explosive expansion while serving as a key member of the mergers and acquisitions team. Post acquisitions, he directed the organizational design and talent management programs, including driving organizational effectiveness through identification of "Best in Class" practices and deploying them globally.
He holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. Daniel has completed numerous executive development programs, including the Harvard School of Business Strategic Human Resource Management Program.
